Event Description:Lecture and performance. "Piety and Pilgrimmage: Life and Times of a 13th-century Madonna and Child." Vassar College faculty will consider a medieval Spanish sculpture of the Madonna and Child from the permanent collection. Participants include Nancy Bisaha (history), Dorothy Kim (English), Andrew Tallow (art), Joseph Tanski (chemistry), and Tyler Rowland (art). The evening will include a performance of sacred music by student group, the Vassar Camerata.
